Taylor Rousseau Grigg, a young TikTok star, died this weekend at age 25, her husband, Cameron, shared. However, he did not reveal the cause of the influencer’s death.
The news was spread by Cameron on Saturday through his social networks, where he shared a link to a GoFundMe page, an online platform to raise funds, in this case to help the family with Taylor’s funeral expenses.
“No one expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and anguish, especially at our age,” wrote Cameron, who is also 25 years old and who married the TikToker in August of last year.
“This past year, Taylor had dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in their entire life. And despite that, she was still a light and had always brought joy to everyone around her.”
Cameron, who is also an influencer, described his wife as a brave and strong woman, ensuring that she saved his and many other people’s lives with her protective and loving personality. Taylor had more than 1.4 million followers on TikTok.
“Taylor’s earthly body is still here with us and is controlled by machines to keep her organs viable for donation,” the young man specified in his publication.
“Taylor would want to continue saving lives even after leaving this world. And although his earthly body has failed him, his memory and his life will continue forever. He doesn’t owe anything to anyone. But I would like everyone to know that he is more than fine.”
In the same publication, Cameron explains to his followers and Taylor’s fans that neither he nor the family are well off financially and did not have insurance. For this reason, they decided to open a donation campaign on GoFundMe, where they have already raised just over 25 thousand dollars.
“Even if they cannot contribute financially, prayers are always needed for our family. I love you all. Taylor loves you all. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time.”
“It is with our deepest condolences that we acknowledge the passing of Taylor, who has now spread her wings. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. “At this time, we would appreciate everyone’s respect and privacy for our family at this time,” the donation page adds.
