After a few days ago a video went viral on social networks about the tense moment that Salma Hayek and Nicole Kidman experienced during the last parade held by the Balenciaga brand at the Paris Fashion Week event, where apparently Kidman could not help but express her annoyance with Hayek when the Mexican performed an action.
As can be seen in some of the clips that have circulated, the moment of tension occurred when Salma Hayek tried to take Nicole Kidman by the arm so they could pose together in some photographs. However, the Australian actress obviously removes Hayek’s hand, generating a gesture of resignation on the part of the Mexican. Next, Kidman walks away from the group, leaving the protagonist of “Teresa” so she could pose with the singer Katy Perry, and with her husband François-Henri Pinault, it seems that the Australian became uncomfortable and refused to pose with them.
As expected, this situation immediately caused the images to go viral, in addition to generating dozens of speculations.
During a meeting with the press, the actor Eugenio Derbez came out to give his opinion when he was questioned by reporters, ensuring that he did not see a big conflict between them and alleging that the public could be exaggerating.
“I don’t know, he just pushed her hand aside, he didn’t slap her, we don’t know, maybe he told her ‘wait for me because I’m swollen’, what do I know, I don’t know! It’s at best to speculate that they quarreled. Maybe he told him ‘wait for me, I’ll notice it…’, what do I know, I don’t know, I didn’t see that much conflict there,” the comedian revealed.
In the same interview, Eugenio Derbez reacted to the statements that José Eduardo Derbez gave minutes before on the same carpet, because his son said ‘that no one said anything about (Eugenio) getting women pregnant’, in response to the question of what he thought that his father had said that José Eduardo’s taste for alcohol and tobacco came from the Ruffo family because he was very healthy.
Ha ha ha! OK that’s fine! But the rest was taught to him by his mother at home,” Derbez responded.
Eugenio visited Mexico to attend the premiere of his series “And They Came at Night” (VIX+), a comedy that features the Mexican’s characteristic humor and is now available on the digital platform.
“It has been a long time since I have been as excited to premiere a series as I am now. I think that because I had not done a comedy in Spanish for 12 years, without directing, which I love to direct, since ‘La Familia Peluche’ and ‘No se Accepted Returns’ which I did not direct and always, when I see myself on screen I say ‘I would have done this differently’. When you direct, you transfer everything from your head to the screen and I love that; So, very excited to finally bring you a project of mine, with my seal and my signature.”
