After more than 55 years of history in El Volcán, the Tigres UANL decided to give a giant step into the future by presenting the project of what will be its new stadium. With an estimated cost of $320 million dollars, the board of the felines wants to be the envy of the continent.

Within the club they know that one of the ways they have for the Tigres brand to expand throughout Mexico and the continent is by having a first-class stadium that does not envy Europeans and is a reference in America.

This week the new stadium project was presented at a conference held in El Volcán. This infrastructure would be completed in 2025 and will be built in the vicinity of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León.

The government of Nuevo León together with Tigres UANL have officially presented the new stadium project for the university club with a capacity of 65,000 amateurs.

“The tiger profile is building what will be the new house of Tigres and all the fans that characterize us for supporting with courage and roots and until the last. Of course we deserve a new stadium, it’s a yearning for several years,” said Mauricio Doehner, head of Sinergia Deportiva (link between Cemex and Tigres).
