In the tournament they will invite 22 personalities and Canelo Álvarez will be the only boxer present at the event among those of 156 total participants ; They will also have professional golfers and the competition will be held under the standards of the PGA Tour brand.
The person in charge of announcing the news of their participation was Colorado himself, who responded to a mention on Twitter made by the official account of the tournament. “See you soon” tweeted Canelo.
According to the competition guidelines, each famous golfer will be paired with a professional, playing one round in each of the three courses designated for the tournament. After the first three rounds, the 25 best teams will advance to the final.
This is not the first time that Canelo Álvarez has participated in a golf competition.
