The Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would have signed his contract with FC Barcelona according to the journalist Fabrizio Romano on his social networks and it would be announced in the next few hours.
For Fabrizio Romano, Aubameyang has already passed the medical check-ups and even dared to publish an image of the footballer from Arsenal wearing the Barcelona two-tone shirt, in what appeared to be a photo shoot.
In addition to the publication, Romano clarified that the bond would be until June 2023 although in principle it would arrive as a loan for six months and later he would have the option of a additional year.
In addition, minutes later, he published an image of what appears to be Aubameyang celebrating the signing of his contract with Barcelona in which the scorer is seen to be quite excited.
The Spanish press had already reported that Aubameyang was in the club’s offices on Monday at midnight local time ; even the president of FC Barcelona Joan Laporta had commented that the operation was close to becoming a reality.
“Mateu Alemany (Barcelona’s director of football), who is doing an extraordinary job, says that it seems that we will do it. That’s a good sign. It’s not done. If it seems that it is done, we will have to go where we are all gathered to sign”, expressed Laporta a few hours ago.
Aubameyang will thus become the third striker to be acquired by FC Barcelona in this transfer market after the arrival of wingers Adama Traoré (Wolverhampton) and Ferrán Torres (Manchester City).
