Three people were killed in Upper Manhattan when a car went flying off the road and onto Amtrak train tracks.

Two of the fatalities were identified as Hispanic occupants of the vehicle, and the name of the third deceased was not released.

A luxurious black BMW traveling south on Henry Hudson Parkway in the vicinity of the street 183 lost control, hit a concrete wall, went over the barrier and landed on the Amtrak train tracks around 3 am yesterday Monday.

The car burst into flames. Police reported that the driver of the car, Edgar Valette, aged 39, was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

A woman who was inside the vehicle was also declared dead: Kimberly Martínez, aged . A third person, an unidentified man, was discovered under the vehicle and also died, detailed Daily News.

Two southbound lanes of the avenue were closed while police investigated. Amtrak issued a notice of possible delays between New York Penn Station and Albany due to police activity yesterday, reported ABC News.
