president-of-ukraine-will-release-all-prisoners-to-fight-against-the-russian-army

Ukrainian prisoners with military experience will be released to help in the fight against the Russian Army, reported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

“Anyone who can join the fight against the occupants must. The decision was not easy, from a moral point of view, but useful from the point of view of our protection. Under martial law, the participants in hostilities, Ukrainians with real combat experience, will be released from prison and will be able to expiate their guilt in the most dangerous places of war. The key now is defense,” Zelensky detailed.

Shortly before the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations began on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, Zelensky stated in a new video message: “When I ran for president, I said that each of us is a president. Because we are all responsible for our state. For our beautiful Ukraine. And now each of us has become a fighter.”

In a speech in Ukrainian, the president stated that during the Russian invasion, in just four days, 16 children died in Russian bombardments and 45 more were injured.

Then, speaking in Russian, he addressed the soldiers of that country , asking them to abandon their military equipment and leave.

“4.53 Russian soldiers have already died. Why did they come here? Why are the columns of their armored vehicles coming against us from our Crimea, Yalta, Evpatoria, Sudak, Simferopol?” Zelensky pointed out.

Last 16 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation in Ukraine, assuring that its objective is to protect civilians.

In a televised speech, Putin said that the measure is in response to threats from Ukraine. He added that Russia does not have the objective of occupying Ukraine and that the responsibility for the bloodshed falls on the Ukrainian “regime”.

With the outbreak of the military conflict, Zelensky announced the entry into force of the martial law throughout the country.

Martial law is a state of exception by which power is ceded to military institutions in order to counteract extreme scenarios, such as wars or invasions.

As cited by statement published by the Ukrainian presidential cabinet, “the constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen provided for in articles 24-34, 38, 39, 41-44, 53 of the Constitution of Ukraine may be temporarily restricted, temporary restrictions will also be imposed on the rights and ei Legitimate interests of legal entities”.
