The midfielder who has become one of the immovable in coach Lionel Scalini’s scheme, has also become one of the favorites of the world’s fans, to the point that an Ecuadorian fan dared to make a peculiar exchange for his shirt.
In this match, both the ‘Albiceleste’ and ‘La Tri’ sealed their ticket to the Qatar World Cup 2022. Argentina qualified undefeated and second in Conmebol with 39 points, although it remains to be seen if they will play against Brazil in the game that was suspended in the date 6.
