At least people were arrested and several were injured this Sunday during a fight between fans after a match between Santos and Coritiba corresponding to the second day of the Brazilian Championship, reported police sources.
Fans clashed around the Vila Belmiro de Santos stadium, on the coast of the state of Sao Paulo, and came to vandalize a health center in the center of the city.
Videos circulating on social networks show the moment in which a group of rioters broke into a health center to attack fans with stones and other materials rivals awaiting medical attention.
Military Police agents had to intervene with bombs stun guns and rubber bullets to disperse the groups that were fighting in various parts of the municipality, reported the institution.
At least 06 people were arrested and must answer to the Justice for aggression and material damage. An unknown number of people were injured. The authorities have reinforced security around the stadium.
