Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced this Thursday the signing of Porto midfielder Vítor Machado Ferreira, better known as Vitinha, with a five-year contract, the club said in a statement.
According to the sports newspaper L’Équipe, the Parisian club has paid $41 million dollars to cover the release clause of the Portuguese player, who becomes PSG’s first summer signing and who already underwent the first medical examination this Thursday before going to sign his contract at the headquarters of his new team.
The Portuguese international, born in Santo Tirso, was trained in the fields of Portugal since the 11 years old but had the opportunity to play in English football, in the Premier League, being transferred to Wolverhamtpon for the season 2020-2021, where he played 22 games.
