The National Police have arrested five men and one woman in the Alicante town of Denia and in Malaga as alleged perpetrators of the theft of a significant amount of jewelery and money from the Ibiza home of the former Brazilian soccer player and president of Real Valladolid , Ronaldo Nazario de Lima.

According to sources close to the investigation, four arrests have been made in Malaga and another two in Denia, and of the five men arrested, four are of Albanian nationality and one of Spanish , while the woman comes from Romania.

The same sources have indicated EFE that an important part of what was stolen has been recovered from the house located in the Cala Jondal area, in the municipality of Sant Josep de Ibiza, owned by the former soccer player.

At the time of the assault, no there was no one inside and there were signs that the entrance to the villa had been forced, according to sources close to the investigation who assured EFE that the Italian soccer player Marco Verratti, a Paris Saint-Germain player, spent a few days at the residence of Ronaldo with his family.

The robbery complaint was filed with the Civil Guard in the early hours of this Monday. Although not confirmed, the value of the jewels and the stolen money could amount to around three million euros.
