This Thursday, June 30, the Mexican entertainment media mourned the death of Fernando del Solar, a charismatic actor and host who is well remembered for his presence on Televisa with the program ‘Hoy’, but especially for having been part of ‘Venga La Alegría’ on TV Azteca.

At the young age of 49 and after having fought against cancer that was detected in 2012 , Fernando left unexpectedly, leaving behind his two sons, Paolo and Luciano, and his wife Anna Ferro, whom he married last April.

There are still doubts about the cause of his death, but his relatives They have just shared an emotional message to thank all the displays of affection, support, solidarity and respect after the painful blow that resulted in his death.

“Fer, always with her smile full of light, the best attitude and love sprouting from every cell. Tireless fighter of his dreams and ideals. Today he went to fly even higher… and that news reaches the hearts of all of us who knew him”, reads an excerpt from the statement.

“As a family, we are comforted to know that everyone will lovingly understand this moment of intimate farewell and we are infinitely grateful for all the signs of affection, support, solidarity and respect”, they continued expressing and finally requested: “If you want to accompany Fer, light a candle that shines honoring his life and helping this world to have more light ”.

A black and white photograph of the Argentine driver was added to the note in which he passes smiling. The post already has more than 100,000 reactions and comments from fans as well as colleagues from television with whom Fernando lived together throughout his career.

“Always in our adored heart Fer, rest in Peace”, he wrote the host Odalys, wife of Patricio Borguetti, who in the program ‘Venga La Alegría’ said that her children are very close friends of Fernando’s, they went to school together.
