Almost a month after Johnny Depp defeated his ex-wife, Amber Heard, in court, the actor has resumed his artistic career with the filming of his new film which, unfortunately for his followers, is not about the sixth installment of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ saga.
After being accused of domestic violence, the protagonist of the film ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ was separated from some of his characters and replaced by other histriones.
However, now that the jury has ruled in his favor in the defamation case, Depp’s career has taken a second wind and as proof of this the role he has achieved in a new tape, the first after the mediatic legal battle of more than six weeks.
Recently, the actor was caught traveling to France, where he will start shooting the film ‘Jeanne du Barry’, in which he will play Louis XV. Although some details of the production are still unknown, such as the release date and the actors that make up the cast, it is known that it will be released through the streaming service Hulu.
One of the projects that will be fell for Depp was that of the Disney franchise, where he brought to life the iconic Captain Jack Sparrow. A few days ago it was said that the company was evaluating the actor’s return and had made him an offer of $300 million dollars.
However, a Depp representative denied the information to NBC saying: “They made it up”.
The information coincides with previous statements of the producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who in May assured that it was not among his plans to resume the employment relationship with Depp: “At the moment, no. The future is yet to be decided”.
