Sea party to the beat of Beyoncé

Queen Bey is finally back with new tunes on her Renaissance album and that calls for the ultimate dance party! Circle Line, home to New York’s most iconic boat tours, is hosting a one-night-only dance class for Beyoncé fans, taking place this Thursday, September 1 at 7:00 p.m. pm. In honor of Queen Carter’s album and birthday month, Circle Line is throwing this party set against stunning views of the city. The New York City Opera will present an abridged version of Donizetti’s classic Lucia di Lammermoor, this Friday, September 2 at 7 pm, as part of the Bryant Park Picnic Performances presented by Bank of America. Think Romeo and Juliet but set in Scotland. Donizetti’s brilliant score is the height of drama and the pinnacle of Bel Canto style in this abridged version, starring world-renowned soprano Sarah Coburn, tenor WooYoung Yoon, and legendary bass baritone Mark Delavan.
