How can you participate in the Powerball draw ?
You must choose five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls. Then a number from 1 to 19 for the red Powerball.
If you match all six numbers you win the jackpot.
How to get your cash prize?
“Prizes must be claimed in the state where the winning ticket was purchased. Players can generally claim a prize of up to $600 dollars at any establishment authorized to sell lottery in the geographic location where the ticket was purchased.
Prizes greater than $600 dollars can be claimed at the main venue of lottery in each case. There are also some authorized establishments, whose address should be duly consulted as appropriate.
You have time to collect your prize between 90 days up to one year, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold. The expiration date is usually listed on the back of the ticket. If the expiration date is not listed, you should check with your state lottery.
If you win the Powerball jackpot, you can collect the prize in two possible ways: as an annuity -in 30 payments during 29 years-, or a single lump-sum payment in cash. For the annuity, each payment increases by 5% each year.
