The Brazilian player from Palmeiras, Gabriel Menino, has been a trend after confessing what he felt when doing the famous diet of the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo.

In an interview with the local media “Palmeiras Cast”, Menino assured that he thought he was going to “die” when he went out to play.

The soccer player said that he decided to try Cristiano Ronaldo’s eating routine to improve his performance and once again be an option in the colossus of the Brazilian city of São Paulo.

For this reason, he started with the diet of one egg and supplements for breakfast, supplements before training, in the afternoon and before bed, grilled fish or chicken, along with salad for dinner.

The next day they called him up for a game and he immediately felt the change. “He was warming up and all he was thinking was: ‘I’m going to die.’ Five minutes into the game he could no longer run, he needed to be replaced, ”he assured.

What saved him was that just at that moment one of his teammates was assisted by the doctors and so he was able to rest for a few seconds to drink an isotonic drink and recover.

He is currently a starter at Palmeiras, with whom he has won two Copa Libertadores and a Brazilian Championship, among other trophies.
