The New York Knicks could not assert their locality and with an impressive participation from Jimmy Butler Miami Heat stole the victory by achieving a 108-101 victory at the start of the NBA Conference Semifinals.

Butler exceeded Miami’s expectations by sealing a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds, in addition to collaborating with four assists and two steals that allowed him to tie up the victory little by little and destroy New York’s defense.

However, near the end of the fourth quarter, the Miami star suffered a sprained ankle from which, although he recovered, it scared all his fans and gave the Knicks confidence to look for the game, albeit without success.

Along with Butler’s participation was also Gabe Vincent contributing 20 points, two rebounds, five assists and one steal, while Kyle Lowry contributed 18 points and Ben Adebayo 16.

In a loss by the Knicks, RJ Barrett added 26 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal; Jalen Brunson added 25 points, five rebounds, 7 assists and a steal while Obi Toppin added 18 points and Josh Hart 10.

The second game of the series between the Knicks and Heat will be played at Madison Square Garden next Tuesday, May 2, with the obligation of the locals to achieve a victory that allows them to travel to Miami with chances of advancing to the Conference Finals of the nba.
