nikola-jokic-on-denver-nuggets'-candidacy:-“there-are-no-favorites-in-the-finals,-they-will-be-the-toughest-games-of-our-lives”

The Serbian Nikola Jokic is already heating up the NBA Finals that will start this Thursday, June 1 and that is why he referred to the final series against the Miami Heat as a game where there are no favorites.

In statements prior to the match against Miami, Jokic spoke at a press conference about how hard the final will be but that he hopes to win the title.

“Who said that we are favourites? The media? Las Vegas? We are not favourites. We have to be prepared for this. There are no favorites in the Finals, that’s my opinion,” Jokic said.

But Jokic’s statement was not the only one that moved the first match, because Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler also spoke about the final and how he is relaxed for this Thursday.

Given the lack of favoritism, an atypical relaxation can be seen in the protagonists of a challenge as enormous as the NBA Finals.

“Just drink some water, listen to music, some wine, that’s the formula…” Jimmy Butler said, wanting to joke before the journalists.

The first game of the final will be played this Thursday at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, in a series to the best of seven games for the Nuggets to seek to win their first championship ring or, on the contrary, the Heat to achieve their first title since the 2013 season. .
