Actor Alec Baldwin underwent surgery due to chronic hip pain.
His wife Hilaria confirmed that the star received a hip replacement, because for months he had pain that prevented him from doing his daily activities.
“Alec got a new hip today. it was needed for a long time. We have been through a lot together. As your partner and as you improve, I strongly hope that you put this episode of intense chronic pain behind you and that your quality of life improves,” Hilaria wrote on her Instagram account.
The model also dedicated a few words to the medical staff who collaborated in the operation, accompanied by a photo of the actor where he appears in the hospital bed.
“Grateful to Dr. Davidovitch, Dr. Miller, Dr. Golden, Dr. Furgiuele, the nurses and staff who are so generously helping Alec through this safely,” she added.
A few days ago Baldwin finished shooting the film “Rust”, after two years. In 2021, during a rehearsal for the film, the actor activated the gun he had, and the cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, died instantly.
The legal process regarding Baldwin’s responsibility in the matter is still open.
