The security guard at a Texas hotel who alleged that the former Marine who claimed to have killed al-Qaeda terrorist Osama bin Laden punched him and called him a “nigger” amid a physical altercation is white.
The New York Post reported this week that Johnny Loomis, 61, a loss prevention officer at The Omni Hotel in Frisco, is not black.
However, Loomis denounced to the authorities that Robert O’Neill said derogatory comments to him because of his skin color and that he assaulted him while taking him to his room on August 23.
O’Neill would have had too many drinks before the encounter.
O’Neill, who wrote a book identifying himself as the US Navy SEAL or special operations forces officer who fired the bullets that killed bin Laden, allegedly confronted the guard outside his room on the fifth floor of the hotel.
The Frisco police report says that as O’Neill tried to open the door with his credit card, he struck Loomis in the chest with his right hand.
The security employee alleges that the ex-SEAL then called him a “nigger f*cking”.
The guard proceeded to ask colleagues at the hotel to call 911.
“Johny stated that he was scheduled to have heart surgery soon,” the arrest report reads.
Loomis was evaluated by medical personnel and released. This one had red marks on his chest.
O’Neill, who was in Texas to participate in a podcast, admitted to police officers that he had had too much to drink and that he could barely remember how he got to the hotel.
The former Marine from US SEAL Team 6 or Naval Special Warfare Activities Group reportedly added that he was disappointed in himself, that it was his fault that he was arrested, and that he may be a “bastard.”
However, the ex-soldier denied having used the word racist against the security officer.
“I have honorably and proudly served my country for half of my life in battles around the world, shoulder to shoulder with men of all races, religions, and sexual orientations,” he told the outlet.
He added: “The person’s skin color doesn’t matter when your life is on the line. The idea that I could use a racist expression against someone is so absurd, beyond offensive, not only to me, but to all the brothers who have served and fought with me; I reject this in the strongest terms.”
