The Al-Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, experienced uncomfortable moments this Tuesday during the Champions Cup match against Al-Ettifaq of coach Steven Gerard and midfielder Jordan Henderson, when the rival fans, in order to annoy the Portuguese, began chanting ” “Messi, Messi.”
Every time Cristiano Ronaldo received the ball, the visiting fans shook the stadium with Messi’s name, just hours after the Argentine number 10 won the eighth Ballon d’Or in his career in France.
The peak came at the moment when the attacker took the ball to execute a throw-in and, faced with the constant siege of the fans, he could not stand it any longer and went directly to the stands.
When facing the fans, Ronaldo ordered his critics to silence and later addressed the referees, in a video that went viral on social networks, pointing out the constant harassment to which he has been subjected since his arrival in Arabia.
However, against all odds and also fighting against the refereeing that expelled one of Al-Nassr, Ronaldo’s team ended up smiling in the end and he did not hesitate to return to the place where his critics were to confront them.
After Sadio Mané scored in the 107th minute of extra time, both the African and the star addressed the audience in a clear way to vent, showing that in the end they were the ones who ended up winning.

On past occasions, CR7 has denied that there is a rivalry with Lionel Messi that goes beyond sports, but apparently it has not gone down well with the Portugal team that the world champion with Argentina had just won his eighth Ballon d’Or.
Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Arab football with Al-Nassr at the beginning of 2023 and currently participates in both the Saudi Arabia League and the AFC Champions League and the Champions Cup.
