1909-S VDB Lincoln Penny

It is said that before the Treasury Department decided to eliminate the initials of the designer Victor David Brenner (VDB) the Mint in the United States had already minted about 500,000 “Lincoln Penny” cents. The price of one of these cents in optimal condition is around $117,000, just check to see if on the back in the middle of the two wheat stalks there are the initials of “VDB”.

1943 Wheat Penny

This penny is one of the most expensive at auction with a value reaching $1.7 million, although those in perfect condition can even cost up to $2.3 million.

This coin can reach a value of $126,500 dollars in good condition, the error that makes it valuable is due to the duplicate date and letters on the obverse which were discovered in 1970.

1982-D Lincoln Penny

It reaches a price between $10,000 and $30,000 dollars. Its rarity is based on several details, in 1982 they were not planning to be minted in copper and they did so since there were leftover copper plates. During the minting process the Mint took a hit and generated some errors in the numbers.
