Inter Miami staged an epic comeback this Saturday at Chase Stadium, beating the New York Red Bulls by a resounding 6-2. The stellar performance of Lionel Messi, along with the lethal duo that he has formed with Luis Suárez, and the newcomer Matías Rojas, were key to the victory of the local team.

Inter Miami began the match at a disadvantage, after an early goal by Dante Vanzeir for the Red Bulls. However, the home team did not give up and reacted strongly in the second half.

The turning point came in the 52nd minute, when Matías Rojas, in his second game with the club, scored the tying goal. From that moment on, Inter Miami completely dominated the match.

The connection between Messi and Suárez was fundamental for Inter Miami’s victory. Messi distributed five assists, including two for the goals of Suárez, who completed a spectacular hat-trick. The Argentine also scored a left-footed goal to put the team ahead.

Matías Rojas, who recently joined Inter Miami, made an immediate impact on the team. In addition to scoring a goal, the Paraguayan provided an assist and was a key figure in the team’s high press.

With five assists in this match, Lionel Messi became the first player in MLS history to achieve that feat in a single match. In addition, the Argentine reached 10 goals and 12 assists in the season, consolidating himself as the absolute leader of the team.

With this victory, Inter Miami extended its winning streak to four in the MLS. The team is at the top of the Eastern Conference standings and is emerging as one of the favorites for the title.
