The Brazilian soccer star, Neymar Jr., provided his helicopter this Wednesday to collaborate with the evacuation of people affected by the intense rains that have recently fallen in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Through the helicopter, supplies and food donated by the footballer himself were brought to dozens of people who had to be displaced due to the flooding caused by the rains.
Air transport also served to evacuate people who were in a delicate state of health. Such was the case of a woman who entered on a stretcher to a care point established by the rescue forces on the BR-116 highway, in the municipality of Eldorado do Sul, a place that is currently under heavy flooding.

The Al-Hilal player from Saudi Arabia announced that he sent a private truck to the scene with supplies for all the affected people.
“I don’t like to publish everything I do or what I help with, because those who do it, do it from the heart and not out of commitment. So this message is to encourage people to help even more,” Neymar said through his social networks.
According to the latest reports, 100 deaths have been recorded to date in Río Grande do Sul and another death in the neighboring state of Santa Catarin. In addition, 128 missing and 372 injured have been registered in Río Grande do Sul.
In the affected areas, some 230,500 people have had to leave their homes. Regarding the affected people, it is estimated that the number reaches one and a half million.
A significant number of people have asked for their homes, they hope to be rescued. Porto Alegre is submerged under water and the situation with those affected begins to get complicated as the days go by.
