Loosely based on the 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer’s own life, the production tells the story of a 17-year-old teenager and the problems of a middle-class family, where a single mother tries to do everything possible so that her daughter Don’t fall into the temptations of the streets of New York.

Set to the rhythm of the 90s, it is a love story between a mother and a daughter. The extremely talented cast is led by Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Kecia Lewis, Chris Lee and Maleah Joi Moon, directed by four-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, with choreography by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown, a book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz and the music of Keys, with new songs and her greatest hits. At the Shubert Theater on Broadway (225 West 44th Street).
