ricky-rubio-is-convinced-of-returning-to-the-nba-court-in-a-year

Ricky Rubio recently lived through a horror movie in the NBA when he tore the cruciate ligament in one of his knees and at the best moment of his career. However, having already undergone surgery and with his sights set on his recovery, the Cleveland Cavaliers player is enthusiastic about his return to the court. In fact, the Spaniard told the La Vanguardia portal that he hopes to be back in a year.

“I’ll be back in a year, but much stronger”, the Spaniard strongly emphasized.

“It lasted a day lament. I have been injured, what is he going to do? You have to put things in perspective. I know that from now on every step is key, I learned it from the mistakes I made in my first injury. The first thing I did was ask the doctors when I could play again”, Rubio commented.

At the time of the injury, Rubio was showing his enormous game and he was the leader of some Cavaliers who were fighting for a place in the postseason. In fact, the Spaniard was the image of a team that painted for big things hand in hand with him.

I was playing my best game, without a doubt. But I think the best is yet to come. This is not a full stop. The test will be hard but after this year I am sure that I will return to an even higher level”, highlighted the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard.

Rubio, also confirmed that he still has a long way in the highest category of American basketball, although he does not rule out playing again in Europe and why not, finish his career as a professional in his country.

“I have 3,4,5 years left in the NBA, but I would really like to come back and play in Spain. Without a doubt, it would be at Barcelona or Joventut, but there is still a long way to go”, sentenced the veteran point guard.

In this way, the Catalan will shortly begin his rehabilitation to return with more strength to the NBA. Of course, he must first prove himself with the organizations of this sport, because he will be a free agent at the end of this campaign. Although, what is clear is that he is hungry to continue making history on the United States basketball court.
