The moment in which a Mexican news presenter explodes against people who do not wear face masks and are anti-vaccines, whom he called imbeciles, quickly went viral on social networks.
The presenter of the newscast from Guadalajara, Mexico, Leonardo Schwebel, occupied his news space to spread a strong and clear message against people who refuse to be immunized against COVID, also known as anti-vaccines.
“You damn anti-vaccines, a bunch of imbeciles, stop messing around and at least put on the damn face mask,” Schwebel said out loud after approaching the camera. “And stop screwing up the world, yes, you, anti-vaccines, you’re an idiot, put on your mask,” added the man while making a fuss with his hands.
His reaction quickly went viral on social networks. Some called the driver “crazy” and “paranoid”; while the vast majority sent messages of support to the presenter from Jalisco.
After so much commotion caused by his message against anti-vaccines, Schwebel gave an interview to television channel 6 Telediario, in which he explained his reaction against people who do not wear face masks and are anti-vaccines.
“Sometimes it is necessary to shout”, assured the driver during the interview.
Schwebel commented that he has received “the same curses as blessings”, he even said that he has already received threats and that users of different social networks have made various negative comments ” that I die, that I hope it infects me” he said.
“ I’m not like that, only in those 3 or 4 minutes I am emphatic, it is not a matter of scolding, sometimes you have to shout” he asserted and assured that if he had sent the message in another way, it would not have reached the objective.
“If I I would have said it normal (…) believe it, I would not be here with you right now, so it is not a matter of scolding, it is a matter of seeing how we do it so that the world wakes up, ”argued the communicator.
