After a few months where he did not count for the coaches Ole Gunnar Solskaer, Michael Carrick and Ralf Rangnick, the promise of Dutch football Donny van de Beek arranged with Everton on the last day of the transfer market for the Merseyside club until June this year.

The midfielder, who arrived at Manchester United in the summer of 2020, has not had many opportunities with the ‘Devils Rojos’ and has barely played 50 games, in which he has contributed two goals and two assists.

Upon his arrival, Van de Beek held a brief meeting with the club’s media, which in parallel this Monday also received Frank Lampard as the new coach.

“It’s a great team, with great players and I’ve come because I think I can help them move up the table. I hope to be able to contribute with my football qualities, my passion and, of course, scoring goals. It’s a big part of my game, scoring and assisting, and I’ll try to do it again“said the Dutchman.

“I’ll give everything I have and I hope to see you soon“concluded van de Beek

Van de Beek was part of the Ajax in Amsterdam that was left at the gates of playing the Champions League final in 2019. On that occasion, a historic comeback by Tottenham with a Lucas Moura hat-trick in the semi-finals left them on the verge of glory.

He spent one more season in the Netherlands, before arriving at United for some 40 million euros.
