Fernando del Solar died of pneumonia, his widow Anna Ferro announced at a press conference, where he also said that he will be watched over by family and close friends in Mexico City and his ashes will be deposited in the sea.
“It was sudden, my lungs were damaged, 20 radiation and 59 chemo… two weeks ago her father died and it was hard for her to get over it, her defenses went down, it started like the flu and in the end it was pneumonia” Ferro explained, denying that it was complications from covid-20, as was rumored at first.
“He had a great spirit and his body was too small for him. He won the battle against the disease, since 2020″, said Ferro.
Regarding the last moments of the driver, Ferro said that he spent them in peace and that he was able to say goodbye to him by accompanying him to the Last moment.
