how-to-shop-at-costco-without-a-membership

To buy at Costco, the store asks customers or “partners” for a membership with an annual cost. For some people it may be convenient to pay for the membership, while for those who make few purchases a year, it may not be so. There is a trick for those who want to make some purchases without the need for a membership.

Among the variety of products that you can find at Costco, in addition to food, there are electronics, optics, pharmacy and even gasoline. You can get groceries from the store without bringing a friend with you with membership or use a gift card.

Use Instacart to shop at Costco without membership

The trick is to use Instacart. The grocery delivery service application allows its users to buy and receive Costco products at home to those who do not have a store membership.

Costco Gold Star Membership is $120 per year, while Costco Executive membership costs $
per year. To order with Instacart you do not need a membership.

Instacart notes that their rates start at $3.35 for orders on the same day of more of $35 dollars. Rates vary for one-hour deliveries, club store deliveries, and deliveries under $35.

New customers may be eligible for free delivery promotions. With an Instacart+ membership, a $0 delivery fee can be earned on every order over $35. Instacart+ is free for two months as a Costco member.

In addition to shopping at Costco, Instacart also allows you to order from other warehouse clubs, such as Sam’s Club and BJ’s Wholesale Club, without being a member of the retail club.

Instacart can be a good alternative to avoiding the Costco membership fee if you don’t you make purchases at the retail store frequently.

For purchases at Costco through Instacart consider that the order must be at least $60 and that in some cases, the prices of products purchased through Instacart may be slightly higher than they would be in the store.
