Elon Musk, the American businessman who owns X -formerly Twitter-, Tesla, SpaceX and other companies regained the lead in the ranking of millionaires with a net worth of $241.1 billion, according to Forbes.

The change on the board came as Tesla’s shares rose more than 2.5% to just over $266 on Monday, recovering from last week, after shares fell on the announcement that the company will offer loan financing of up to 7 years for those who want to buy a Tesla.

According to Forbes estimates, Musk’s net worth added some $4.1 billion, increasing his net worth by more than 1.75% to $240.7 billion, knocking Frenchman Bernard Arnault and family, owners of luxury brand LVMH, into second place after the Arnaults’ net worth fell more than 1% to $234.9 billion.

This morning, the two main rankings of millionaires confirm the first positions:

Forbes:

1. Elon Musk, $242.4 billion
2. Bernard Arnault, $234.4 billion
3. Jeff Bezos, $151.5 billion

Bloomberg:

1. Elon Musk, $239 billion
2. Barnard Arnault, $201 billion
3. Jeff Bezos, $153.1 billion

As is known, the leadership in the lists of millionaires is ephemeral and in recent months it has been in dispute between the American and the French. Arnault had taken the top spot from Musk as the electric carmaker lost about $18 billion, down nearly 10% after an unfortunate quarterly earnings report.
