The star of the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry lived this Sunday had the best performance that a player has had in a seventh game of ‘playoffs’ in the entire history of the NBA.

The Warriors point guard became the first basketball player to score 50 points in that instance to give his team a 120-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings, and a pass to the Western Conference semifinals.

With this record, he surpasses the marks in a seventh game that had players like Kevin Durant, who scored 48 points in 2021, the 47 scored by Dominique Wilkins in 1988 and the 47 by Sam Jones in 1963.

Curry finished the game with fifty points and 20 of 38 shooting. Additionally, he had eight rebounds and six assists. The second best scorer for the Warriors was Andrew Wiggins with 17 points.

During the first half, 20 of the 56 points the Warriors scored were from Curry, who made 8 of 15 shots. Four of them were tripes.

It was in the third period when the Warriors shot up their level at the rate of a stellar Curry, starring from the goal, but also with tackles in traffic and acrobatic baskets.

For Curry it was truly a perfect match, even a robbery during the day, which will now lead them to face LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers, who eliminated the Memphis Grizzlies.
