While PepsiCo is not sponsoring the extravaganza of the Super Bowl big sporting event this year, Tostitos, a Frito-Lay product, will open its first pop-up restaurant serving limited-time casual dining for fans enjoying the sporting event.
The food table is the most anticipated element of many Super Bowl gatherings, and snacks are an important part of game day meals.
Tost by Tostitos will put Tostitos chips and dips at the center of its recipes from February 9-11. The restaurant will be located in the Roosevelt Row Welcome Center at 918 N. 2nd Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Tost by Tostitos menu includes:
Tostitos Breaded Chicken Strips with Tostitos Dipping Sauce Toppers: Marinated chicken strips breaded with crushed Tostitos tortilla chips and served with Tostitos Dipping Sauces.
Tostitos-Style Arizona Cheese Crisp: Large crispy toasted flour tortilla topped with cheese and green chiles, drizzled with Tostitos Toppers Fire Roasted Red Chili Pepper sauce.
Tostitos Shrimp Fritters – Diced Shrimp, Grilled Corn, Bell Peppers, Jalapeno, Cilantro Rolled and Fried with Tostitos Cantina Tortilla and served with Tostitos Avocado Lime Flavored Toppers, Tostitos Toppers Fire Roasted Red Chili Pepper Sauce and Tostitos Sauce Fiesta Ranch Toppers.
Red Chili Braised Short Ribs: Short ribs, jalapeno bean salsa, Tostitos Salsa con Queso, Spiced Tomatoes, and shredded Cotija cheese served with Tostitos Hearty Dippers.
Tostitos Hint of Lime Elotes – A crunchy version of Mexican-style street corn on the cob rolled in Tostitos Hint of Lime crushed tortilla chips.
Street Tacos with Tostitos Toppers: Tacos made with your choice of green chile chicken, pork carnitas, char-grilled flank steak or cauliflower marinade and served with three Tostitos Toppers.
Tostitos Grilled Salmon Nachos: Grilled marinated wild king salmon, Tostitos Crispy Rounds, refried beans, shredded cheese, Mexican crema, and cabbage pico de gallo.
Sopapilla with Tostitos ice cream and honey: deep-fried puffed dough with Tostitos-infused ice cream drizzled with honey.
Complimentary lunch and dinner reservations are available at tostbytostitos.com. Lunch will be served February 9-11 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and dinner between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
